- This *two disc* release of the Linux Toolkit CD features the
- sunsite.unc.edu archive, the tsx-11 archive, and the Slackware 2.0
- distribution of Linux. Linux is a complete Unix-like system
- containing everything you expect in a commericial package and more.

- You can easily install the Slackware 2.0 Linux package directly from
- the CDROM. Along with the binaries, you get tar files of sources if
- you want to modify your version. Japanese language Extensions add
- Japanese capability.

- You'll find the latest GCC compilers, emacs, C libraries, and X
- windows packages to upgrade your system. You get a large collection
- of internet linux-announce newsgroup archives from 1993 and 1994 and
- other documentation to guide you.

- The sunsite directory contains networking code, applications,
- utilities and games to let you get the most from your Linux system.
- The ALPHA and BETA directories from tsx-11 allow you to look at and
- test the latest in Linux development.

- Packages included are Xfree86 2.0 and 2.1, tcl/tk, gcc 2.5.8, libc
- 4.4.21, emacs 18.58 and 19.22, sunsite's extensive collection of X
